Just like the Brownlow Medal, Keeper provides leagues with their very own League Medal!
It works the same way as real-life – after each league match our umpires award a 3-2-1 to the most influential players.
And just like real-life, players on the winning side are more likely to poll based on how dominant their side was!
How do votes get calculated?
In Points leagues, we look at how well each player scored combined with whether their fantasy team won the match and by how much. Players on teams who win by a big margin are more likely to poll that those on a side that only just won or even lost.
In Category leagues, we look at how well each player performed across the entire set of categories relative to other players in the match. Then an extra boost is given to those who were strong contributors in categories their team ended up winning. They did the heavy lifting so deserve the credit!
Can medal settings be customised?
Yes. Leagues with an Ultimate tier subscription can adjust the following settings
- Medal Name
- Voting Format
- Top 5 (5-4-3-2-1)
- Top 4 (4-3-2-1)
- Top 3 (3-2-1) - Default
- Top 2 (2-1)
- Top 1 (Best on Ground)
- Whether to weight votes towards winners
- Whether to hide votes until end of season
Is it possible to set our own votes?
Yes (eventually). If you have your own voting mechanism and want to adjust what our umpires award, leagues with an Ultimate tier upgrade will be able to customise votes for past matches.
